Recently, Jays are dead (@jayzrdead) and @py_rates shared images of some upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG colorways. The image above, like the rest featured in this post, is a Photoshop rendering of what this colorway will end up looking like. As you can see, this iteration has uppers with a plain White base. The overlays at the front, including those around the toe boxes and over the lace eyelets, are covered in Black. A brighter Red hue seems to be present over the collar wing overlays, heel overlays, and the Nike “Swoosh” logos. The same Red hue can be spotted over the “Nike Air” branding on the tongue tabs.
Out of the three Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG colorways being discussed and featured in this post, this particular one happens to be exclusively for women. At the moment, it is being referred to as “Blue Chill” because of its color scheme. Like the one discussed above, the uppers of this iteration are also plain White. All of the outermost overlays on its uppers are covered in a dark, navy blue-like Obsidian hue. This iteration gets its nickname from a turquoise-like Blue Chill hue that appears over the Nike “Swoosh” logos, the outsoles, and the “Wings” branding, while its midsoles are all-White too.
Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Black Phantom”
Last but not least, the third of these Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG colorways, which you can see above, is apparently dubbed “Black Phantom,” which again is a reference to its color scheme. Like the other two, the image above is also a Photoshop rendering. Nonetheless, as seen in it, this iteration gets its nickname from the Black hue that covers a majority of its sleek uppers, even the laces. It is equipped with Sail-colored midsoles and the same hue appears over its Nike “Swoosh” logos and “Wings” branding. Finally, University Red covers the “Nike Air” branding on the tongue tabs and its outsoles.
The Release Dates
