adidas Consortium “Workshop” Packs-1

The adidas Consortium In-House Team Has Designed Two Brand New “Workshop” Sneaker Models

adidas Consortium was formally introduced back in 2015 as a program through which retailers could sell each other’s products and share minimum orders. Over the years though, adidas Consortium has become considerably more than just a network of some of the most influential and illustrious retailers from all over the world. Last year, Consortium has launched its own project dubbed “Workshop,” aiming to “explore” the prestigious history and story of adidas Originals. The latest collection from this “Workshop” project includes two brand new models, designed by the adidas in-house team without any external collaboration. These two brand new models have been named the Falcon and the SS2G.

So far, adidas Consortium has already introduced two “A//D” Packs through its “Workshop” project, one last year and one earlier this year. Although like the latest one, both of those packs consisted of brand new sneaker models, they were actually revamped and upgraded renditions of previous, classic adidas models. The theme of these two “A//D” Packs was “retro-futurism.” As always, the adidas in-house team once again thought “outside-the-box” by incorporating elements of functionality and performance into contemporary lifestyle sneakers. Consequently, both of these models are fashionable enough to make heads turn and robust enough to be worn outdoors, withstanding rugged conditions, terrains, and the elements.

adidas Consortium “Workshop” Packs-4In terms of their color schemes, the Flacon and SS2G appear to be quite alike, nearly all-White, featuring differing combinations Navy- and Yellow-colored detailing with a varying color blocking. Of course, their construction varies. The Flacon has Primeknit uppers with sock-like ankles and instead of laces; it has a toggle lacing system. The SS2G, apparently inspired by the adidas Superstar, has mesh uppers with shell toeboxes and suede overlaying panels, all of which gives it a deconstructed appearance. It is also equipped with neoprene tongues and a toggle lacing system. These latest adidas Consortium Workshop sneakers will make its retail debut on August 8th, 2018.
