This year marked the debut of renditions of the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 3, which Tinker Hatfield modified to resemble his original, respective sketches of these two models. The Air Jordan 3 “Tinker” arrived on April 30th, which was Tinker Hatfield’s birthday, while the Air Jordan 13 was transformed into a completely different model, which was dubbed the Jordan Black Cat. It seems that upcoming Air Jordan releases 2018 are going to include a “Tinker” series of sneakers of a slightly different nature. It will consist of Air Jordan models inspired by some of Michael Jordan’s favorite Nike sneakers that were designed by Tinker Hatfield.
Even when it comes to his own signature sneakers, Michael Jordan has his favorite Air Jordan models. During an interview for the promotion of NBA 2K14, Michael actually his preferred Air Jordan models. Topping that list is the Air Jordan 11, which he wore for an entire season after he returned from unexpectedly retiring to pursue a professional baseball career. His second favorite model is the Air Jordan 3, which he loved playing in, such as in the 1988 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. Last but not least, Michael Jordan’s next two favorite models are the Air Jordan 12 and the Air Jordan 13.
At this point, you likely already know about the Air Jordan 6 and the Air Jordan 10 “Tinker,” both of which are a part of this series. The Air Jordan 6 “Tinker,” which draws inspiration from the Nike Air Trainer SC 2 High, already made its retail debut on October 6th, 2018 at a price of $190. The Air Jordan 10 “Tinker” is inspired by the Huarache Light and it will also retail for the same price on October 20th, 2018. This series also includes the Air Jordan 3 “Chlorophyll” inspired by the Air Trainer 1 and an Air Jordan 8 inspired by the Air Raid.
Apart from the Air Jordan 6 and the Air Jordan 10, the other two sneakers from this “Tinker” series will be joining the Air Jordan releases 2018 in the coming months. Namely, the Air Jordan 3 is scheduled to make its retail debut on November 10th, 2018 at a price of $190 and the Air Jordan 8 is also going to be available at the same price when it hits the shelves on December 22nd, 2018.
