The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Homage To Home” seen above was first previewed back in August 2017. At first, it was assumed that it might be a sample, but it was later revealed that it would be joining this year’s Jordan releases 2018. The highlight of this iteration is the fact that one half of each shoe is dressed up in the model’s iconic “Bred” color scheme and the other in the “Chicago” color scheme. In addition to the Air Jordan 1 “Homage To Home,” two other colorways also seem to be on their way, one of which is apparently a women’s exclusive.
Back in 2016 and in 2017, Jordan Brand dropped the “Bred” and “Royal” iterations of the Air Jordan 1 Satin, respectively. As you may recall, Jordan Brand dropped the Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard” on June 27th, 2015. Now, Jordan Brand is replicating that color scheme onto this women’s Air Jordan 1 Satin iteration. Apart from the addition of satin, the sneaker is still dressed up in the same combination of Black, Sail, Starfish and White hues. It is also equipped with all-White midsoles and the Starfish hue also covers its entire translucent outsoles.
Last but not least, zsneakerheadz has revealed that Jordan Brand has whipped up one more colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG. This one actually does not have any particular nickname as of yet and the image seen above is actually a Photoshop recreation by Instagram user Jays are dead (@jayzrdead). From the looks of it, this iteration will be dressed up in a combination of multiple hues, namely Black, Sail, University Blue and Varsity Red. Although no actual photos of this colorway have surfaced as of now, you may expect the sneaker to look somewhat like this.
Apparently, Jordan Brand will first drop the Air Jordan 1 “Homage To Home” exclusively in Chicago on April 21st, but only 2,300 pairs will be available. Latest rumors suggest that the colorway will later join May’s Air Jordan releases 2018 and this wider release will not be limited. The Air Jordan 1 Satin “Shattered Backboard” is expected to arrive at retailers on May 5 and this “Black/Varsity Red/University Blue/Sail” colorway will reportedly hit the shelves during the Holiday Season on December 15th, 2018. One thing all three of these releases have in common is that each of them will retail at the same price of $160.
