Many of the sneakerheads reading this are probably quite knowledgeable about the Nike Huarache history. This means that they probably remember that back in 2007, Nike Sports borrowed colorways that the original Air Mowabb had debuted in order to introduce new exciting renditions of the Nike Air Huarache runner. Now it seems like Nike wants to repeat history, but this time with the Air Flight version of their iconic Huarache running shoes, which is going to be dropping in an OG Mowabb colorway on one of the upcoming Nike release dates 2015.
The Air Mowabb is one of Nike’s classic sneaker models that they designed for the outdoors. In fact, it is one of the most popular All Conditions Gear (ACG) sneakers and is also regarded as a retro hiking shoe. The Air Mowabb is actually a mid-top sneaker with attributes that resemble those of the Air Huarache. It is also features chunky rope laces and a neoprene sockline. It has become somewhat of a tradition for Nike to re-release classic silhouettes and they recently brought back the Air Mowabb, which is currently available on Nike.com.
Unlike the typical Air Huarache sneakers, the Nike Air Flight Huarache is actually a basketball shoe and this particular version has been given the Mowabb-treatment. Taking inspiration from the recently released rendition of the Air Mowabb, this colorway of the Air Flight Huarache is also dressed up in the same Birch, Bright Mandarin and Rattan colorscheme. Some sneakerheads may even feel that this color scheme looks much better on the Air Flight Huarache than it originally did back in 2007 or recently on the Air Mowabb.
There is currently no news of any potential Nike release dates 2015 on which this Nike Air Flight Huarache “Mowabb” could hit the shelves. However, it is being speculated these upcoming basketball shoes could actually be GS-sized, so it is also unsure whether or not they will be arriving in adult sizes.
